3 Sisters: Beans, Corn, Squash | Chili Pepper

Description

This pattern from Grow collection is called 3 Sisters. It’s inspired by the cultivation methods of the indigenous people of North America. Beans climb up the corn stems and the squash act as ground cover to keep in moisture and prevent weeds. Pippa tried this growing technique herself and it’s brilliant and beautiful. There is a bit of artistic/horticultural license for the chili peppers, but she does grow them as well!
