Sashiko

Sashiko means "little stabs" or "little pierce" and comes from Japan. Traditionally used to mend clothing, Sashiko reinforces worn or torn cloth with decorative stitching, ultimately making clothing stronger or warmer. Generally the only supplies needed are a needle, thread, thimble and fabric making Sashiko a great mindful craft for on the go.
