Learn to hand applique using Carolyn Friedlander's new block of the month pattern, the Collection quilt. In her words:

"This is the quilt I would have wanted to make when I was first learning to do hand appliqué. It needed to be something fun (#1), but also something where you can really explore and learn how to tackle shape with your needle."

We will be shipping this complete quilt kit, pattern included, in late August and start a virtual (and local for those in Atlanta/North Georgia) quilt-along in October where we tackle this quilt a block per month. The kit includes the fabric exactly as pictured with the exception of the green Architextures print which is no longer available. A comparable replacement will be included with the kit (unless I can talk Ms. Friedlander into sending me some of her stash ;)
