Waxer Canvas is a dyed cotton canvas naturally treated using Beeswax. Wax is mixed in with the woven fibers to create a water resistant barrier ideal for jackets and bags. The wax repels water, as it beads up to sit on the fabric's surface.
*Fabric cracks, scratches, wrinkles and creases are a natural part of this fabric’s character as it ages and patinas.*
Waxed canvas cleaning tips: Shake or brush off dirt, sand or any other abrasive material. For small spots, use cold water and mild soap, and a sponge or brush. With a little soap, gently massage the surface. Rinse with a sponge and cold water. Let the product air dry. Fabric wax coating can be renewed and reapplied using commercially available products like Otterwax.
