Summer Sampler 2021 Quilt Kit

Description

Get ready for the Summer Sampler 2021 QAL hosted by Faith, Lee and Katie with our kit containing all the Kona Cotton needed to make the quilt top! This year’s theme is “Vintage Restyle" and the team of guest designers took your favorite traditional quilt block designs (like Sawtooth Star, Irish Chain, Log Cabin, etc.) and gave them a fresh, modern spin.  The pattern includes a coloring sheet or you can stick with the colors they have chosen for the cover quilt and order a kit right here! Skill level: 

Confident Beginner. 

You should have mastered basic quilting skills, such as the ability to sew a 1/4" seam, general fabric cutting and pressing knowledge, and familiarity with the terminology used in quilt patterns.

Techniques/skills used: 

Most of the blocks use standard piecing technique. One block uses foundation paper-piecing (our “Beginner’s Guide to Foundation Paper-Piecing” is included with purchase if you have never tried FPP before). Four blocks involve some curved piecing. Throughout the quilt-along, they will be providing designer tips, tricks, and a few video demos of specific techniques used.

Pattern includes:

• 12 blocks, 12-1/2” x 12-1/2” (12” finished)

• 1 super-sized center block, 28-1/2” x 28-1/2” (28” finished)

• Finishing instructions for a 68" x 68" completed quilt
