Stellar Mosaic by Cotton + Joy is a stunning modern quilt with a modern take on the classic sawtooth star quilt block. This block-based pattern uses fat eights or fat quarters, and suggestions are provided in the pattern on making it scrappy using cuts only from your stash. The block construction allows for large blocks that are great for showing off your favorite prints! Stellar Mosaic is the perfect pattern for confident beginners, comfortable with matching seams. Pattern assumes quilter has knowledge of basic piecing and can use consistent 1/4″ seam allowances.

Sizes: Baby (36″ x 54″), Throw (54″ x 72″), Twin (72″ x 90″), Queen (90″ x 108″), and King (108″ x 108″).

Skill Level: Confident Beginner. The pattern assumes the quilter knows basic piecing techniques, can maintain a consistent 1/4″ seam, and is comfortable matching points.
