Stash Fabrics is thrilled to announce we will now be stocking Tilda Fabrics! Tilda is a fabric brand founded by Norwegian designer Tone Finnanger in 1999, best known for whimsical naive characters and charming fabric design. Our first Tilda collection is Hometown! Hometown is a cozy collection where the love of home and community has been the main inspiration. Drawings of neighborhoods, houses, gardens and gatherings in Autumn and Winter colors are perfect for your homey quilts and projects. Have you heard about Karen Nyberg? She is an astronaut (quilter/artist) who has been to space on the Space Shuttle Discovery and the International Space Station and she even quilted in space! Her favorite thing to do in space was to look out the window and try to capture the beauty of Earth as much as she could in photographs.  In designing Earth Views, she selected photos that are a good representation of the various textures, colors, and ecosystems on planet Earth. This line of fabrics is printed on 100% organic cotton fabric to bring awareness to people about the fragility, beauty and importance of our Earth.  This collection is truly amazing! The Nutmeg collection by BasicGrey evokes cool fall mornings when hints of frost glow against the vibrant colors of autumn. Songbook: A New Page fabric collection is designed by Stephanie Sliwinski of Fancy That Design House & Co. for Moda Fabrics. It was inspired by designer Stephanie Sliwinski’s love for the natural world and hymns. This lovely collection of prints blends gorgeous florals with butterflies, tossed leaves, and blenders in blue, ochre, cream, teal and pink. These prints are complemented by the classic words of inspiration from the traditional hymns that stand the test of time. Like the hymns, the quilts created from Songbook can be passed on for generations to come.

The word flourish is defined as "to grow luxuriantly."  With that feeling in mind, Simple Simon & Company created the With a Flourish collection. With a Flourish is made up of beautiful floral prints and blenders with a rich palette of colors intended to inspire, delight and make quilts “grow luxuriantly.” The blues, greens, mustard, and coral colors in the With a Flourish collection both blend and complement one another while giving off a classically refined feel.

 Moon Garden by Tula Pink features all kinds of garden regulars that are drawn to the fragrance and mystery of the night. There are owls , bees, dragonflies and an elegant yet often misunderstood little garden snake.  While Tula has included a few coordinates that are specific to Moon Garden, the bulk of the collection is made up of large focal prints. These are the prints that pull the entire collection together and do the bulk of the visual work in a sewing project.  These prints are big, bold, and full of life.

Colorwash fabric collection designed by Carrie Bloomston for Windham Fabrics gathers several of your favorite artistic and tonal prints from Carrie Bloomston's eight collections for Windham Fabrics over the years. There are also exciting new colors for you to use to explore and express. The prints in Colorwash play well with others and act as wonderful creative blenders and off-solids.  They blend amazingly well with Carrie's latest collection called Happy! 

Happy was Carrie's Bloomston artistic answer to the pandemic. She used rainbows, rain clouds, lightning, and playful scribbles to convey the silver linings after the storm. As the pandemic began to ease, her feelings had become more happy than hopeful. The Happy collection reminds us to find as much happiness, connection, and joy as you can everyday.

Halloween is over! Time to get started on those Christmas projects! This week we will highlight the beautiful Christmas collections we have in stock starting with Cheer & Merriment.  A traditional holiday palette meets modern pops of colors, and the panels in this collection are sure to make every spirit bright! Be sure to check out the lil gifts that coordinate with this collection such as drawstring gift bags and metal tins!

Sketchbook fabric collection is designed by Alexia Abegg for Ruby Star Society. For Sketchbook, Alexia hand painted textures, cut shapes from paper, and pulled bits & pieces from her personal sketchbooks. She wanted the abstract prints to be thematically open minded so the sewer could create their own stories. The color palette is edited down but warm, inviting and fresh. It really feels like a light, bright & breezy paint studio. 

Just look at those colors! Twirl by Sarah Watts for Ruby Star Society is a colorful collection full of regular and metallic blender fabrics showcasing multi-colored brush strokes. This collection is excellent for blending with other Ruby Star Society collections or as background or stand alone fabric in quilts. Twirl coordinates perfectly with the Firefly collection also by Sarah Watts<3

Chapter Seven: The Softer Side is by Amy Sinibaldi and expresses her soft side by finding beauty in everyday things and expressing what she takes in, simply and delicately into endearing designs.  Remember we are offering coordinating bundles for each of the Season of Tribute chapters! 

Arctic fabric collection designed by Bethan Janine for Dashwood Studio transports us to a breathtaking frozen land where polar bears, Arctic hares, and foxes wander icy forests. Penguins, reindeer and walruses play under starry skies and puffins and snowy owls fly overhead.  In a palette of crisp blues and teals with hints of sparkling metallic, Arctic is the perfect collection for all your winter sewing projects.

Firefly was inspired by Sarah Watts' experience of playing in the backyard with her two young daughters on those summer days that stretch into evenings, and experiencing the wonder and magic of her daughters seeing fireflies for the very first time.   In this modern collection you will find owls and moths joining fireflies and blooming flowers under the moonlit sky.  Sarah Watt's vibrant color combination of dark teal, berry pink and gray will without a doubt bring life to your next project!

Bramble fabric collection, designed by Rifle Paper Co. for Cotton and Steel, has the perfect transitional palette to ease your sewing into fall. The autumnal garden designs along with beautiful florals suit a variety of projects including quilts, garments, and bags.  With 36 quilting cotton prints and 9 cotton-linen canvas prints, Bramble has something for every quilter and sewist.

Chapter Six: Listen to Your Heart shows off Sharon Holland’s talent of effortlessly mixing the vintage with the modern. This group encapsulates her range of styles from whimsy romantic prints to courageous color palettes. 

Darling, Denyse Schmidt's newest fabric collection for Windham Fabrics, hits you right in the heart, invoking the sweetness of days gone by, but with a fresh, contemporary twist. Darling includes prints featuring small-scale florals, geometrics, eye-catching stripes, and playful plaids in Denise Schmidt's signature retro color scheme.  The tiny prints are ideal for patchwork. The Darling cheater print is a must have! We also have the My Sunshine Quilt Kit available using Darling <3

Forgotten Memories fabric collection by Minki Kim for Riley Blake Designs takes us down memory lane with large and small scale florals, ginghams, dots, and pretty blenders. The vintage inspired color palette includes shades of amethyst, gold, autumn orange, seafoam green, and creamy off white.  Minki has created a beautiful new pattern called Spin Me Around (shown above using Forgotten Memories) and the paper pattern is available on the website here!

Reverie fabric collection is designed by Melody Miller for the Ruby Star Society. Reverie means "a state of being lost in one's thought, a daydream." This collection is full of soft and vibrant shades of color that feel like a dream. It has a whimsical leopard print canvas, as well as three new Spark colors! ​​​​​​​​

Chapter Five: Crafting Magic fabric collection is designed by Maureen Cracknell for Art Gallery Fabrics.  Constantly reinventing the boho style, Maureen Cracknell invites you on a magical journey through creative illustrations of majestic creatures, hand-drawn florals, and glistening colors.

Woodland Blooms fabric collection is designed by Sanderson for FreeSpirit Fabrics and features birds, squirrels and hedgehogs, complex florals and coordinating blenders. Sanderson's color combination of sky blue and teal unite with earth tones and saffron yellow to evoke the beauty of the woodlands. Nature lovers will obsess over this collection as much as we do! The bird prints are gorgeous and those little pine cones are perfect<3

Chapter Four: Eclectic Intuition fabric collection is designed by Katarina Roccella for Art Gallery Fabrics.   This collection showcases Katarina Roccella’s point of view as an artist. Her prints are dynamic, beautifully abstract, and have an undeniable edge that carries a sense of exotic charm.

Vivacious cotton lawn fabric collection is designed by Anna Maria Horner for FreeSpirit fabrics.
